I took my plain little lacquered pine box that I’ve had forever, and gave her new life. All it took was some yellow paint, new knobs, some little embellishments, black ball feet and sanding. Okay, a splinter straight through the finger while wiping with the tack cloth was in there too, but that doesn’t count.
One of her drawers sticks badly now. I’ll sand the wooden bar it slides on tonight and get that working properly again. She may need a little more embellishment, but for now, I’ll pretty happy with her.
There’s new life in the old girl!
